We are excited to share with you the details of our first-ever in-person GHHS Thrive & Connect event, taking place at Wick & Pour (167 Mott St, New York, NY 10013). This event is open to all GHHS members in the New York region. This is a wonderful opportunity for GHHS members in the New York City area—including students, residents, and alumni—to join us for a complimentary evening of creativity, connection, and community.

The purpose of this event is to foster a sense of community and well-being by engaging in meaningful conversations and activities that promote self-care and humanism in healthcare. Here’s why you won’t want to miss it:

• Focus on Well-being and Creativity: Attendees will participate in a hands-on candle-making class centered on mindfulness and personal growth, crafting their own candles with unique scents and colors.

• Build Community: This event offers a chance to connect with peers, mentors, and professionals, fostering meaningful and supportive relationships.

• Gain Insights: Participants will have the opportunity to engage in enriching discussions and receive valuable advice from a diverse group of students, residents, and clinicians.

• Meet the Gold Staff: GHHS members can connect with faculty and staff who are here to support them on their humanism journey.

• Skill Development: Workshops and panels will be available to help attendees enhance their skills in various areas of healthcare.

• Share Experiences: Attendees will exchange stories and insights, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on growth and well-being.
