The Gold Humanism Honor Society strives to keep our members connected to each other. We are excited to offer a mentorship program for recent medical school graduates who have entered their intern year of residency. For recent medical student graduates, the transition into residency has already begun. Years spent learning, studying, and planning are finally paying off! A thrilling moment, albeit a little nerve-racking. GHHS members are found all over the world, and they are your fellow leaders of humanism. These are the people who are standing up for patients, advocating for those populations that often suffer most due to grave injustices and acting as leaders of compassionate patient care in their communities. This program is designed to create connections between GHHS members who are already in a residency program and first-year residents who are in the same program or location. This important mentor-mentee relationship will help: - First-year residents adjust to their program
- Provide opportunities to connect around humanism in healthcare
- Reconnect GHHS residents to their Gold Humanism Honor Society community
